MA Sports Horses is based at Northfield Stables in Medstead Nr Alton in Hampshire. MA Sports Horses has access to some 20 acres of grazing and is currently able to stable upto 18 horses. This website is designed to provide information about Malcolm Aitken, his livery, breeding and rehabilitation business and the horses in training as well as provide information about his achievements.

Having been introduced to horses by his late mother and ridden competitively as a teenager, Malcolm rekindled his love affair with horses shortly after Graduating in Sports Science 1999. Show Jumping soon progressed from being a weekend hobby into becoming the reason for going to work. The provision of sponsorship from Vantis Plc in 2005 was a key assistance in his successes during his time balancing competing and office work. In late 2006, Malcolm decided that horses were the career for him and office life was phased out. After a brief period of sharing a yard in Windsor, Berkshire Malcolm decided to go it alone in late 2007 and the rest as they say is history. Whilst Malcolm's main competition interest is in Show Jumping he aims to educate young horses for competition careers over all disciplines. Malcolm has successfully competed horses from British Novice through to 1m30 and competes at National and International shows. Over the last few years we have also been Cross Country schooling and Hunting on a range of horses. Further details are available on the services page. In 2013 many of our experienced show jumpers were sold to make way for our young horses coming through. Since then Malcolm has had plenty of successes in 4, 5, 6 and 7 year old classes as well as progressing horses from British Novice to 1m30. Since obtaining planning permission to live on site at Northfield Stables we have been able to offer a breeding and rehabilitation service from our yard. We currently stand our 2009 stallion Eldorado H2 (Numero Uno x Padinus x Burgraff). Full details of Rehabiliation experience is available upon request. |
